Trustworthy Digital Infrastructure

Supporting the development of trustworthy systems

Governments around the world are committed to supporting the roll out of national digital IDs, however there are privacy and security implications associated with scaling these systems at a national level. Placing a focus on trustworthiness allows a broad examination of factors that determine whether the individuals, communities, or organisations, including governments and relying parties, would or should put their trust in a system.

The Alan Turing Institute has joined a vibrant community to address global identity challenges and has led the efforts in defining and delivering opportunities for supporting the deployment of trustworthy identity systems. These webpages have been provided as a gateway to trustworthiness, allowing implementors of DPI and DPGs to access bespoke tools that have been designed to support the establishment of trustworthiness in identity systems.
