The Turing must ensure that it processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. This includes the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Other regimes may apply in other jurisdictions.
The Turing’s Data Protection Team supports data protection compliance through a range of procedures, training and awareness raising.

Data Processing Terms: If you are partnering with the Turing and the processing of personal data is part of that arrangement the following Data Processing Terms will apply in the following situations unless you have agreed separate bespoke terms with us in writing:
In all scenarios set out below the Data Processing Terms – Definition and Interpretation module will apply. These set out how the Data Processing Terms work as well as key definitions that apply to all of the modules.
Where you and we are data controllers the Data Processing Terms – Controller to Controller module will apply.
Where either you or we are a data processor the Data Processing Terms – Controller to Processor module will apply.
Where you or we may transfer personal data to another jurisdiction outside of the UK the Data Processing Terms - International Data Transfer module will apply as well as any relevant additional transfer provisions such as the ICO’s IDTA. We may also seek your support in carrying out a risk assessment associated with that transfer where relevant.
Data Protection Particulars: We may also seek your support in completing a record of the types of data shared with us by asking you to help complete our Data Protection Particulars template. This document records more detailed information about the types of personal data shared that isn’t otherwise captured in the default Data Processing Terms noted above.
