Introduction
The Alan Turing Institute is hosting the fifth edition of AI UK, the UK's national showcase of data science and artificial intelligence (AI) research and innovation. The national showcase of artificial intelligence and data science is held annually in the heart of Westminster, and this year’s event will include sessions exploring the full potential for UK research, the future of warfare and sustainability in space and scientific demonstrations such as the Isambard-AI national AI research infrastructure, brain-computer interface technology in action and the use of AI for decarbonisation, among many others.
About the event
AI UK is a showcase of how data science and AI can be applied to society's biggest challenges, with a focus on The Alan Turing Institute's grand challenges, defence and security, environment and sustainability, and transformation of healthcare. The stage programme and exhibition of demonstrations will be announced closer to the event, keep an eye on the AI UK website for the latest updates.
Over two days, attendees will hear from 150+ expert speakers across two stages, explore 40+ interactive demonstrations and participate in practical workshops and networking. The full programme of returning favourites including Imagined Futures and a fireside chat with a Sci-Fi author, and our other keynote speakers, will be revealed at the end of January.
