Big data for small and medium-sized enterprises

Data science increasingly plays a role for UK SMEs and startups, with specific challenges and the need to adapt rapidly. SMEs must increasingly develop partnerships, in order to derive value from their data, be they in logistics, supply chain management, customer and business insight or ensuring data quality, value and security. This summit, to be held at the Institute for Manufacturing, aims to identify the key challenges in data science for SMEs and to identify key priorities for us in meeting them. We want to hear from SMEs and startups that were born digital, those that recognise the potential of big data and are actively seeking to use it, and those who customers are increasingly becoming dependent on data. What are your challenges, your priorities, and your needs in getting value from data?
