The International Lecture Series is based on three themes around responses to health emergencies:

• Statistical modelling and machine learning approaches
• Policy responses 
• International best practice in responding to national health emergencies

2022 lectures have focused on the statistical approaches to the COVID pandemic taken in different countries including Norway, England, India and Wales, as well as a lecture that aims to give a world perspective on understanding the impact of the pandemic.
