About the event

Cloud computing is ideal for developing, training and deploying machine learning models. Microsoft Azure provides a full spectrum of tools and capabilities for researchers to be able to do this bigger, better and faster. This is an introductory session that will provide an overview of what is available, and include some hands-on tutorials to show you how to use tools including Jupyter Notebooks, Azure Machine Learning, deep learning frameworks (such as Caffe, THEANO, Torch, Tensorflow and Microsoft Cognitive toolkit), GPUs, and be a discussion for future sessions. It is suitable for both beginners and experts, and will be the first of several sessions on machine learning using Microsoft Azure, that all Alan Turing Institute researchers have free access to.
