Our 12 PhD interns and their supervisors, who have been working in multidisciplinary group projects over the summer, will be presenting on the results of their work in this half day conference. Their project subjects are:
- Cloudy with a Chance of Pain – an investigation into links between pain symptoms and the weather using self-reported data
- Youthnet – an analysis of support given to young people in London by the Youthnet charity’s forums, text and voice support
- UK Biobank – inferring causality of the effects of modifiable risk factors on quantified brain measurements from the UK’s Biobank
- Machine Classifiers and Neural Similarity Measures – evaluating similarity measures in neural data from brain scans
