Introduction
The urban analytics programme invites you to join the third event on the futures of urban analytics. The third instalment in this series will focus on inequalities in the recovery of cities and regions from multiple recent crises, focusing on how data science and AI can help inform the debate and policy making.
The event will be in-person at the University of Liverpool, in collaboration with the Geographic Data Science Lab, with the keynote speakers and lightning talks available to watch through a livestream. This event is in association with the Turing Network Development Award (TNDA) at the University of Liverpool.
About the event
The event will be split over two days and will feature two keynote speakers, lightning talks and interactive strategy sessions. It will bring together a wide national, and international community interested in how data science and AI can inform our understanding of cities and regions.
The interactive sessions are designed to bring together the community to discuss recent updates on how urban analytics is positioned within the broader Turing 2.0 journey, and further advance its agenda as a leading group in how data science and AI is deployed within the context of cities and regions.
