The Alan Turing Institute and Intel have signed a long term strategic partnership. The partnership will be driven by a research programme on hardware-algorithm co-design, drawing on joint expertise in high-performance computing and data analytics. The
Institute will also benefit from high end computing hardware and software provided by Intel, world class training modules, as well as funding for new PhD students and fellows working in data science research.
Institute Director Professor Andrew Blake FREng FRS said:
“We are excited to be working with Intel, a defining force in computing and in addressing real-world challenges. The partnership is a wonderful opportunity for the Institute to be involved at the cutting edge of research and innovation. We look forward to partnering with Intel in looking at the underpinning problems in data science that can help develop the next generation of computing.”
