AI UK returns next year to showcase how data science and AI can be used to solve real world challenges

Tickets are now on sale for the annual showcase, which will be hosted by The Alan Turing Institute at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in Westminster on 19 - 20 March 2024.

AI UK 2024 will bring together local, national and global leading AI experts to deliver thought-provoking talks and in-depth discussions across three stages.

Featuring speakers from a range of scientific disciplines including fundamental AI, digital twins, algorithmic bias, and AI ethics, the event will explore how data science and AI can be used to solve real-world challenges.

The event programme will reflect the Grand Challenges set out in the Turing’s new strategy in the areas of environment and sustainability, transformation of healthcare, and defence and security.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit 50 interactive exhibition stands, where they can immerse themselves in demonstrations of cutting-edge research and innovation.

Chief Scientist of The Alan Turing Institute, Professor Mark Girolami said: “AI UK 2024 will bring together expertise from across the AI and data science landscape.

“Recent innovations in AI and data science could offer solutions to some of society’s biggest challenges, such as tackling climate change or improving our healthcare. AI UK is an important platform to discuss what these solutions could be and to spark new conversations and ideas. We’re looking forward to two-days of lively discussion and debate.”

The call for AI UK demonstrations and fringe events is open for applications and as part of the Turing’s commitment to ensuring its events are accessible, it will also be offering free live streaming tickets this year.
