At the Turing, Catrin has worked extensively within the Defence and Security programme. This included leading on the Defence and Security monthly meet-ups, Code Clubs and Executive Education. In 2020, Catrin enjoyed bringing her skills and experience to work on the Turing-Accenture Innovation Symposium. Catrin subsequently supports the Finance and Economics programme at the Turing.
Working across the Turing’s research programmes has enabled Catrin to coordinate the Data-centric engineering seminar series, Health programme seminars, One Health Tech seminars, and Data Science at Scale workshop. Catrin has been the first point of contact for research and partnership enquiries. During the pandemic, Catrin also supported the launch of 17 new Interest Groups.
Catrin's previous roles include working at London Ambulance Service, which included leading on a partnership with the Prince’s Trust. At Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Catrin led a successful innovative bid to digitalise haematology microscope slides. While working as a community linkup worker in West London, Catrin worked with corporate banking teams to lead a project gaining the insight of older people in developing online banking services. As a musician, Catrin was awarded the Guinness award facilitating innovative collaborations through Open Academy, Royal Academy of Music.
