Alex works on strategic communications as part of the Turing's External Communications team, having previously led communications for the Public Policy Programme. She has a decade of cross-sector experience in communications, media and audience development.
Alex holds an MSc in Digital Anthropology from University College London, awarded with distinction. Her dissertation research explored relationships between data and place through the lens of a community data trust in the fishing town of Brixham, Devon, and was supported by a UCL Research Award. She also holds an MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
