Bio

Daniela is an accomplished digital transformation executive and part-time PhD candidate at the University of Warwick working on multidisciplinary research around digital health innovation, under joint supervision of Professor Rob Procter (Artificial Intelligence and Human-centred computing), Dr Gabriele Pergola (Computer Science NLP group) and Dr Dimitrios Spyridonidis (Leadership at Warwick Business School) . Through her research and professional practice, Daniela is looking to transform organisations using AI, automation and digital technologies (currently in the NHS), and more recently with a focus on AI-enabled board effectiveness though her PhD spinout Noren.AI. Daniela holds an MSc in Economics (UCL) and Diploma in Global Healthcare Delivery (Harvard). Her international experience spans private/public/charitable/academia/multilaterals including the World Bank and Deloitte.

Research interests

Daniela's Turing related research sits at the interesection between leadership, digital transformation and AI. She studies uses generative-AI analysis of text data to measure what we call 'collective leadership' (or CL - broadly speaking, leadership coordination within groups) surrounding digital transformation between 2017 and 2023 in NHS hospitals to draw some learning and lessons for the future.
