Edward Plumb is a PhD student at the London School of Economics. His interests are in game theory, reinforcement learning and microeconomic theory. Before starting his PhD, he completed his Master's degree in Applicable Mathematics at LSE, where he was awarded the Haya Freedman Prize. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Warwick. He also did an Erasmus year at the Université Grenoble Alpes. He is passionate about climbing. During his undergratuate degree, he set up an outdoor climbing club, and takes every opportunity to climb.
Research interests
My interests lie in the intersections between game theory, reinforcement learning and microeconomic theory. I analyse environments where many reinforcement learning agents interact, and I look for the four C's: competition, collusion, convergence and chaos.
