Research interests

Yara’s research uses data and behavioral science methods, like language models and lab experiments, to study the social identity dynamics of socio-technical systems. More specifically, she focuses on understanding (1) what abilities and biases large language models exhibit in social contexts, (2) how people influence these biases, and (3) how the biases might influence people.
