Bio
Zixin is a PhD student at the Urban Big Data Centre, University of Glasgow. Before starting her PhD, Zixin worked at AECOM, an infrastructure consulting firm, where she was responsible for the strategic planning of real estate projects. She received her M.Phil. degree from the University of Cambridge and B.A. degree from Peking University, China.
Research interests
Zixin's PhD research focuses on simulating the adaptive behaviours of electric vehicle drivers in Great Britain with agent-based modelling and reinforcement learning methods. She also aims to estimate the spatio-temporal distribution of their charging demand, optimise the locations of public charging infrastructure, and contribute to the development of an equitable and sustainable charging network in the future.
