Giuseppe is an Italian PhD student in Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol. Coming from a region hit by earthquakes and landslides, he became a professional engineer. His PhD aims to understand how the water vulnerability of bridge networks can affect communities' resilience. To address this question, he combines risk and reliability analyses with machine learning techniques.
At the Turing, he is collaborating in multi-disciplinary projects for reducing the impact of natural hazards on society.
