Bio

Hope is a PhD student in quantitative psychology at the University of Exeter. Her research interests are in the ethical modelling of risk factors for contact with the Criminal Justice System, to identify effective points of intervention for public health strategies. She aims to understand vulnerability factors associated with violence, reoffending, and poor mental health in incarcerated populations. In her thesis she is analysing Ministry of Justice and Department for Education data to understand vulnerability in children and young adults, with a particular focus on those with neurodisabilities.
