Enrico is a Research Associate at the Turing Institute. He is working as part of the Turing-Roche Partnership in the Predictive Modelling research theme. His interests include interpretable and intervenable clinical models, and geometric approaches to uncertainty estimation and interpretability in deep learning.
His work has involved variant effect predictors and protein sequence models, as well as developing foundation models for transcriptomic data. During his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Southampton, Enrico addressed problems in quantum field theory, general relativity and quantum gravity.
