Bio
Dr Alessio Spurio Mancini is a postodoctoral researcher at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory (MSSL), home of the Department of Space and Climate Physics at the University College London (UCL).
His research focuses on the combination of Bayesian inference and Machine Learning for applications to cosmology and other fields (for example geophysics). In cosmology, he is particularly interested in weak gravitational lensing with optical galaxy surveys like ESA’s Euclid satellite mission.
He is one of the organisers of the Simulation-based science Turing Interest Group.
