Dr Ana Lucia Schmidt

Ana Lucia Schmidt did a PhD in computer science at IMT Lucca (Italy) specializing in the consumption and spreading patterns of news and vaccination information on social media platforms. She then joined the Laboratory of Data and Complexity at Ca' Foscari University of Venice where she did research in the area of social media communication and polarization on a variety of topics like migration news, science communications and COVID information. She then went on to do a PostDoc at Roche focusing on social media listening for patient insights.
