Anna Nikishova holds a Master of Science degree in Computational Science from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the ITMO University with the graduation project on Uncertainty Quantification (UQ). She currently holds PhD position at the UvA, where she continued her research with a focus on UQ of Multiscale models. She proposed semi-intrusive methods for multiscale UQ, and has developed several semi-intrusive algorithms for efficient estimation of uncertainty that are based on metamodeling and sensitivity analysis. In the Computational Science Lab of UvA, Anna works with a team of researchers who are working on biomedical computational models. Her goal is to support the results of the simulations with the precision estimates to allow applying the results to solve real-world problems.
