Bio

Samantha is the co-chair of the Faculty of Public Health’s AI and Digital Health Special Interest Group. She previously trained in the NHS in internal medicine and since then has worked in local government, the Department of Health and Social Care, the UK Health Security Agency, WHO Europe and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office. In 2021 her entry for the Wolfson Economics Prize looking at how digital health could transform healthcare system design was selected for Special Commendation. She has worked on different ways that technology can be used for population-level disease prevention in both the government and commercial sector, and is currently a National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow based out of Bupa.
