Bio
Sandy (Alexander) Jackson is a specialty trainee in anaesthetics and intensive care medicine and an NIHR Doctoral Fellow at the University of Southampton. Having trained at the University of Edinburgh, including a BMedSci in epidemiology, Sandy moved to Southampton where he has pursued integrated clinical academic training. His primary research interest is the application of data science, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, to perioperative care. To facilitate this he has completed an MSc in data science and is currently pursuing his PhD funded by the NIHR.
