Bio
Cindy Lim is a PhD student conducting her research at the University of Bristol supervised by Dr Maximilian Werner. Cindy has a Master by Research in Geophysics and her research focuses on the automatic detection of induced earthquakes using deep learning models. She is interested in observing how machine learning enhanced earthquake catalogues can inform which underlying mechanisms cause induced seismicity as well as if it can improve earthquake forecasting during fluid injection operations.
Research interests
Cindy is interested in applying the novel approaches informed by resources provided by the Turing Institute. She intends to develop a machine learning based earthquake forecasting method that takes into account past seismicity as well as the injection rates during fluid injection operations.
