David is working on the Estimating System Health from Streaming Sensor Data project, which is part of the data-centric engineering programme. David has recently completed his PhD at the University of New South Wales in Sydney focusing on probabilistic analysis to further develop methods for spatial data analysis, using random field theory, for applications to Civil Engineering problem. His main research focuses have been on probabilistic analysis, Uncertainty Quantification and rare event estimation. David has also worked on a number projects involved in the collection of assorted sensor monitoring data and the implementation of numerical models to predict future behaviour of these engineering systems.
