Dr Claire Morris

Claire is an Innovation Lead at Innovate UK. She leads the skills component of the BridgeAI programme and developed the recent guidance AI Skills for Business Competency Framework in collaboration with DSIT. She has a background in RF signal and image processing, with a degree and PhD in Physics from The University of Nottingham, followed by a Mansfield Research Fellowship at the Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre. Her career has covered application areas from medical, to defence and space. Having worked across academic, private and public sectors, areas of interest have included application of supervised learning for automatic target recognition.
