Post-Doctoral Research Associate with DECODE at Loughborough University

Emeka Abakasanga is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with DECODE at Loughborough University, applying artificial intelligence to improve care and outcomes for people with intellectual disabilities. His current research focuses on identifying MLTC clusters and risk factors to inform the development of practical AI tools that can enable more effective care coordination. Emeka earned his PhD in Communications Network Theory from Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel in 2023. He also holds an MSc in Communications Engineering from Loughborough University as well as a BSc in Communications Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Ghana. Through his research, Emeka aims to create meaningful impact on the lives of individuals by harnessing the power of data and AI. His research interests include information theory, AI, signal processing, and data science.
