Laetitia Gauvin is Senior Research Scientist in the Data Science for Social Impact and Sustainability team at ISI Foundation. She completed her Master’s at Imperial College, London and at the Centre de Physique Théorique, Marseille. She then pursued a Ph.D. on the study of socio-economic systems using tools from statistical physics at the Laboratoire de Physique Statistique (LPS) of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. As a postdoctoral researcher, she has been involved in the project Dyxi dealing with Urban Collective Dynamics: Individual and Spatial Heterogeneities. Her research interests regards on the study of socio-economic systems, with a particular focus on Sustainable Development Goals, using approaches involving data mining and machine learning.
