Laurence Oakes-Ash

Laurence Oakes-Ash is CEO of City Science, a software, data and engineering consultancy focused on decarbonisation. Laurence has led numerous analytical and technical projects for national clients, UK cities and rural communities at the cutting-edge of decarbonisation of transport, energy and planning systems. Recent projects include award-winning projects on net zero transport, advising national highways on the future of modelling, development of net zero action plans, development of monitoring and evaluation approaches to support sustainable development and extensive R&D in the decarbonisation of heat and long-haul freight. Laurence is a mathematician, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
