Jane McDermott

Jane has a portfolio career which spans NIHR infrastructure working within the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Healthy Ageing and NIHR Innovation Observatory where she leads on strategic priorities for collaboration, public and community involvement and engagement, knowledge mobilisation and impact.  Jane works within, and across, an extensive network of health and social care policy and practice ecosystems, drawing upon 25+ years experience of complex programme and project leadership, strategic partnership working, knowledge mobilisation and impact in the fields of health ageing, policy research, innovation and social inclusion.  Her work spans local, regional, national and international landscapes and alliances, and is underpinned by a life long commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
