Ramji is a Professor of Information Engineering at the University of Cambridge and a Staff Fellow at Trinity Hall. He is part of the Signal Processing and Communications Lab within the Division of Information Engineering.
Before joining the University of Cambridge in 2013, he held post-doctoral positions at Stanford University and Yale University.
His research interests are broadly in the areas of statistical learning, information theory, and communications. Ramji is the Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory.
During the period 2018-2021, Ramji was a Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute and an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Communications.
