Dr Sam Devlin is a senior researcher in game intelligence at Microsoft Research Cambridge where his research focuses on machine learning, artificial intelligence, digital games and player experience. Previously he has held research roles in human factors at BAE Systems, game data analytics at York Centre for Complex Systems Analysis and game AI at the Digital Creativity Labs. In 2013, Sam completed a PhD on multi-agent reinforcement learning at the University of York and visited Oregon State University to further broaden his studies of multi-agent learning.
