Marco Ortolani is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Keele University. Until 2019 he was Assistant Professor at the University of Palermo (Italy) and Visiting Researcher on a Fulbright grant at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is expertise is in machine learning for cyber-physical systems. At Keele, he leads the eXplainable and Responsible AI research group (xRAI) investigating the ethical use of AI, and the design of interpretable ML models for medical AI.
