Bio
Amy is a post-doctoral research associate at the Alan Turing Institute. They are a part of Project Bluebird, a collaboration between NATS, the Alan Turing Institute, and the University of Exeter, which aims to develop a digital twin of UK airspace alongside the world’s first AI air traffic control system. Amy’s research focus lies in the digital twin and their current work is in developing generative models for trajectory prediction of climbing and descending aircraft.
Amy holds a PhD in aeronautics from Imperial College London, where they applied data-driven analysis techniques to investigate the dynamics of high-resolution CFD-generated wind turbine wakes. Prior to this, they studied engineering at the University of Oxford.
