Bio
Helen Little, nee Duncan, holds a PhD in condensed matter physics from Queen Mary, University of London where she combined neutron scattering experiments and Reverse Monte Carlo modelling to understand the structure-property relationships of multiferroic materials. Helen then held postdoctoral positions at the University of Edinburgh, and UCL. Her postdoctoral work focused on magnetic materials under pressure, and building toolkits to generate and analyse clusters and surfaces.
Since joining the Turing; Helen has worked on a variety of projects with topics ranging from a citizen science platform to air traffic control problems. She has also supported Data Study Groups and the HDRUK internship scheme.
