Bio
Chris is a Research Associate in the Turing’s Public Policy Programme, working across AI standards, governance, and regulatory innovation. Prior to joining the Turing, Chris co-authored the AI Assurance Roadmap at the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (CDEI) and helped to develop the AI governance approach in the UK’s AI Strategy and AI Policy Paper. In this role, Chris was a UK expert for the CAHAI Policy Development Group, contributing to the Human Rights, Democracy and Rule of Law Impact Assessment for AI, at the Council of Europe. Chris was previously a Researcher at the Ada Lovelace Institute, where he wrote about the ethical and societal impacts of the datafication of health. He holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and a master’s in Human Rights (with distinction) from University College London.
