Bio

Kit is a BridgeAI Independent Scientific Advisor at The Alan Turing Institute, a Turing Research Ethics (TREx) Reviewer, a two-time Royal Academy of Engineering Industrial Fellow, a Royal Society Industry Fellow, and Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering  at the University of Birmingham. 
 

He completed his degree in Nuclear Physics at the University of Birmingham in 2015, before spending time as a Research Fellow in the Thermal and Fluids Engineering Department at the University of Twente, Netherlands, and the Materials Engineering Excellence Cluster at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, before returning to the University of Birmingham to take up a faculty position in the School of Chemical Engineering. He is the Deputy Chair of the University’s Research Computing Management Committee, and a member of the management team for the Baskerville Tier 2 Supercomputer.
