Dr Derek Snow

Derek is a Research Associate for Machine Learning in Finance at The Alan Turing Institute. He has worked on machine learning in finance projects at the University of Cambridge and at New York University. Derek has assisted in the development of three postgraduate courses in machine learning. He has a special interest in software development and routinely publishes open source software and notebooks like PandaPy, FairPut, DataGene, AtsPy, and DeltaPy on GitHub which have collectively accumulated hundreds of thousands of downloads. He takes a special interest in working with industry partners to apply machine learning to asset management, financial modelling, event prediction, time series forecasts, and synthetic data generation.
