Bio
Domenic is a Turing Research Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute, and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge. Domenic is also a chartered mechanical engineer who has previously worked in the energy industry. His PhD investigated the application of partial pooling models in value of information analysis, with application to structural integrity management.
Since joining The Alan Turing Institute, he has continued to work on Bayesian decision analysis, system effects, and model risk. He has also contributed to industrial projects with partners including Lloyds Register, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board (ICB). These projects have focused on guidance for engineers and clinicians on the use of computational statistics, and AI assurance.
