Dr Felix Cuadrado completed his PhD from Technical University of Madrid in 2010, where he studied autonomic mechanisms to manage banking services in data-centers. His PhD work received a national award by the Spanish association of Telecommunication Engineers. Currently he is senior lecturer at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science of Queen Mary University of London, where he coordinates the MSc in Big Data Science.

Research interests

Felix Cuadrado's research aims to enable data science algorithms to operate at a massive scale, by developing novel distributed systems techniques that help with scalability and real-time requirements. He is currently working on systems that that create and analyse large-scale temporal graphs, in order to observe the dynamics of relationships from massive amounts of data.
