Dr Glen Martin is a Senior Lecturer in Health Data Science in the Centre for Health Informatics at the University of Manchester. He has a background in mathematics and statistics and completed his PhD at the University of Manchester in 2017.
Research interests
Glen’s current research interests are around methodological development for clinical prediction models and applying these techniques to develop prediction models for clinical use. Particular research interests include addressing the following challenges in risk prediction modelling: missing data/informative observation, multivariate (multi-outcome) risk prediction, penalisation methods and sample size, meta-analysis/model aggregation, and clinical investigations of real-world models (usually in cardiovascular disease).
