Research interests
Dr Wang’s research interests are mainly in computer graphics and computer vision, especially in leveraging machine/deep learning to solve problems in simulation, deformation and motions. This includes solid/cloth/fluid simulation, character animation and crowd simulation. While enjoying the direct applications in computer graphics, his research has also enabled new research and applications in other domains such as motion analysis, human activity recognition, adversarial attack/defence, fabric design, etc. His research has led to publications in areas such as graphics, vision and robotics, e.g. ACM SIGGRAPH, IEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) and The International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA).
