Bio
Ioannis Delis is a Lecturer at the School of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Leeds doing research in Cognitive Computational Neuroscience. He received a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Genoa and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Glasgow and Columbia University.
His research aims to leverage the power of data to uncover the neural mechanisms that humans use to process sensory information and make decisions that ultimately produce effective motor behaviours. To this end, his work lies at the interface between theory and focuses on the development of mathematical tools for the single-trial analysis of large-scale neurobiological and behavioural signals.
