Bio
Juan Kuntz Nussio is a Research Fellow in Statistics at the University of Warwick and a member of the Warwick Machine Learning Group. Before that he was a Research Associate at Imperial College London (Bioengineering), and before that he held various Research Assistant positions at Imperial College London (Bioengineering, Chemistry, Mathematics). He received his PhD (2018, Bioengineering and Mathematics) and MEng (2012, 1st, Biomedical Engineering) degrees from Imperial College London.
Research interests
At the Turing, Juan's research is focused on developing practical and efficient algorithms for machine learning, Bayesian inference, and computational statistics using concepts and techniques from optimization and Monte Carlo.
