Maarten Speekenbrink is Associate Professor of Mathematical Psychology at the UCL Department of Experimental Psychology. He obtained his PhD in psychological methods at the University of Amsterdam. He subsequently moved to UCL as a Research Fellow at the ESRC Centre for Economic Learning and Social Evolution (ELSE). Afterwards, he joined the UCL Department of Experimental Psychology. His research combines computational and statistical modelling with behavioural experiments and addresses a variety of topics, including human reinforcement learning, mental health, and pro-environmental behaviour.
