Dr Oliver Strickson

Oliver is a Research Software Engineer at The Alan Turing Institute. He has been part of the Research Engineering team since 2017 where he has worked on a range of engineering projects across the Institute's Programme areas, and currently leads the Research Engineering contribution to the Data Science for Science Programme.

He has formerly worked as a software engineer and was part of a team that developed fluid and solid dynamics simulation software, supporting industrial and academic users.

He has a PhD in physics from the University of Cambridge. He also holds a degree in mathematics.
