Patrick Rebeschini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford, and a Tutorial Fellow at University College, Oxford. Prior to joining Oxford, Patrick was at Yale University where he has been an Associate Research Scientist in the Electrical Engineering Department, a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department, and a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale Institute for Network Science. He holds a PhD in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
Patrick's research interests are in probability in high dimension, optimisation, and machine learning. He is interested in the investigation of fundamental principles to perform scalable inference and learning in high-dimensional models, and in the design and analysis of distributed algorithms.
