Dr Qingyuan Zhao is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the University of Cambridge. He obtained his PhD in Statistics at Stanford University in 2016 and spent three years as a postdoctoral fellow in the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He started his current post at the University of Cambridge in 2019. He is a Fellow of the Corpus Christi College and an Associate Faculty of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine.

Research interests

Qingyuan is interested in improving the general quality and appraisal of statistical research, including new methodology and a better understanding of causal inference, novel study designs, sensitivity analysis, multiple testing, and selective inference. He is interested in statistical applications in genetics, epidemiology, and social sciences.
