Bio
Dr Stefano V. Albrecht is Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh. He leads the Autonomous Agents Research Group which specialises in developing machine learning algorithms for autonomous systems control and decision making. Dr Albrecht's research on reinforcement learning, multi-agent interaction, and complex probabilistic inference has been published in leading AI/ML/robotics conferences and journals, including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, UAI, AIJ, JAIR, JMLR, TMLR, ICRA, IROS, T-RO, RAL. He a co-author of the book "Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning: Foundations and Modern Approaches" (MIT Press).
Research interests
Dr Albrecht's research interests are in the areas of autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, machine/reinforcement learning, and game theory, with a focus on sequential decision making under uncertainty.
